TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF MARSK CAMP A/S

These terms and conditions apply to any booking, sale and other deliveries, unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing between the parties.
We point out that your booking is not covered by the Danish Consumer Protection Act’s rules on the right of cancellation.
The purchase of accommodation (cabins, holiday homes, camping, etc.) is covered by a special exemption provision in section 18, subsection 2, no. 12 of the Danish Consumer Protection Act. The booking made is not covered by a 14-day right of cancellation. The reason for this lies in the fact that re-renting a reserved cabin/apartment/place, which is cancelled quite a few days before arrival, will often not be possible.
Ordering and payment
Bookings can be made both online at www.marskcamp.com and by manual booking by phone on +45 7218 6780, where a booking is created based on your provided information.
After the booking is recorded, you will receive a booking confirmation, which we ask you to read thoroughly. It is your responsibility as a guest that the confirmation has the correct information you have given us and your wishes for the stay.
If you do not receive an e-mail with your rental confirmation, please check your e-mail spam folder and/or unsolicited e-mail folder or contact us on +45 7218 6780.
The reservation is personal and cannot be transferred to others.
All stated prices which are listed partly on our website www.marskcamp.com and partly by personal enquiry is listed in Danish kroner (DKK) including VAT and all taxes unless otherwise expressly stated or clearly stated in the context in question.
Terms of payment
When booking both through our online system and by personal enquiry, we have the right to ask you to provide debit card/credit card details for use in automatically taking payment for your stay.
Cancellation in case of illness
The cancellation protection costs DKK 250 per booked unit and must be booked at the same time as the stay. After payment, the Cancellation Protection can no longer be ordered/cancelled.
Cancellation of paid stays where no cancellation protection has been purchased is subject to the rule set for cancellation.
The cancellation protection covers until 12:00 on the day of arrival. The full amount (less the price of the Cancellation Protection) will be returned by submitting documentation in the form of a medical certificate.
Only written cancellation by e-mail is valid.
Once you have booked a stay, you have the right to cancel your booking up to 30 days before arrival, where you will be reimbursed the full amount.
If cancelled up to 30-14 days before the date of arrival, half of the price will be refunded.
If cancelled within 14 days before the date of arrival, the right to a refund will be forfeited.
For each cancellation, an administration fee of DKK 300 will be charged.
Cancellation during the stay
In the event of an acute illness, accident or death in the immediate family, you should be aware that you are covered by your private travel insurance. Our Cancellation Protection does not cover if you have to cancel your stay.
Arrival and Departure
Arrival from 15:00 - for arrivals later than 17:00, please inform us in advance.
Departure no later than 11:00.
The rental unit must be left tidy and in proper condition. Tableware and cutlery must be cleaned and in place and the refrigerator must be emptied. Rubbish must be put in the associated rubbish containers. Otherwise, an additional fee will be charged.
The guest's responsibility
Renters of accommodation are fully responsible for the furniture in the rental unit. Defects and damage caused by the renter are settled on departure. The person who has entered into the rental agreement is also liable for damages caused by other people and guests in the rented premises. The rental units may only be occupied by the maximum number of people specified in the price list. Persons over the age of 18 must be present throughout the stay.
If for any reason you do not receive your booking confirmation confirming your purchase and you have not received an error message from the system, then you can send an e-mail to email@example.com.
Complaints about the booking process or the booking itself must be made within a reasonable time after you have discovered the error or should have discovered the error by regular review of your booking confirmation. Complaints must be made in writing.
Complaints about the product (stay) must be made within 12 hours of arrival so that Marsk Camp can remedy the problem.
Forgotten items are stored for 30 days from the date of departure. After the 30 days, items are sent for recycling. It is the guest’s responsibility to contact us about forgotten items. If we have to send forgotten items, the guest pays the shipping costs.
You are not allowed to smoke in all glamping tents and indoor areas, which also applies to e-cigarettes (vaping).
If this is violated, a cleaning fee of DKK 1,500 will be charged.
Smoking in the holiday park in general. Show consideration for outdoor common areas and remember that cigarette butts belong in the rubbish bin. Smoking is not permitted in indoor common areas, which also applies to e-cigarettes (vaping).
Prices and Discounts
The prices at Marsk Camp are continuously adjusted and the current prices can be found on our website. We reserve the right to terminate a rental agreement due to typing errors and/or printing errors. Discounts cannot be combined.
Force Majeure and similar conditions
If compliance with the rental agreement is not possible - or significantly hampered - due to force majeure or conditions that can be equated with this, including but not limited to: War, riots, natural disasters, oil and gasoline rationings, pollution disasters, epidemics, pandemics , suspension of foreign exchange trading, unusual weather conditions, drought, floods, border closure, traffic conditions, strike, lockout and the like that could not be foreseen when entering into the rental agreement, Marsk Camp is entitled to cancel the rental agreement as Marsk Camp cannot be held liable in the said cases.
In such cases, Marsk Camp is obliged to notify the renter as soon as possible, and the renter will not be reimbursed for amounts paid. The renter will, however, receive a credit note on the amount paid. Credits can be used to purchase a new stay within a 3-year period.
