Our experienced nature guides take you out to the reeds in the evening, where you will experience how the starlings gather in flocks of hundreds of thousands and dance in the sky before they settle down in the reeds. Experiencing and understanding the black sun phenomenon is an experience you will never forget!
Tønder Marsh is Denmark’s largest marsh area. The marsh is a distinctive landscape created by the sea and shaped by man. In Tønder Marsh’s towns and landscape, you can experience an historic building culture surrounded by magnificent nature, which is among Europe’s most important bird sites, not least during the bird migrations in spring and autumn.
