Not far from Rømø on the Wadden Sea coast and with the Wadden Sea National Park in the background, you will find Marsk Camp in an area full of unique nature and cultural experiences. Visit us in your motorhome or book a popular glamping stay close to the Wadden Sea UNESCO World Heritage Site in the middle of the marsh.
Marsk Camp is located in 6780 Skærbæk - Hometown, and that is exactly what we want to be - a place where you should feel at home, eat good homemade food with fresh ingredients, and not least enjoy the scenic and safe surroundings.
At Marsk Camp you will find 126 motorhome pitches, where you can choose between whether there should be a lake view and with or without a wooden terrace. You will also find cosy glamping tents, where the hotel room is taken out into nature, and gives you a good base to return home to when you have been out and experienced the beautiful Wadden Sea area and Southern Jutland.
Here it should be mentioned as a large part of Marsk Camp, if not the largest, is Marsk Tower, which is designed by Bjarke Ingels Group - BIG. The beautiful tower or rather sculpture that spirals 25 metres up in the air like a strand of DNA, gives all guests a stunning nature experience combined with unique and beautiful architecture. Marsh Tower represents not only human DNA, but also the DNA of nature and culture here in the Wadden Sea area.
Here you can see as far as the eye can see beyond the Wadden Sea National Park UNESCO World Heritage Site to the Wadden Sea islands of Rømø and Mandø, to Denmark’s oldest town Ribe, and in clear weather, to the city of Esbjerg and the island of Sylt. The unique view can be enjoyed without having to pass each other, as you go one way up and another way down, and get peace to let the impressions sink in.
Like the rest of Marsk Camp, Marsk Tower is also disabled accessible, and therefore, inside the centre of the tower, a lift has been installed so that everyone has the opportunity to get up and enjoy the beautiful views.
So, get your feet wet in the Wadden Sea. Experience the incredible bird life, where over 15 million birds return over and over again to the huge pantry - the Wadden Sea - hence the unique natural phenomenon Starling Magic. Go on an oyster trip and experience the line between the sky and the sea disappear while you have a unique authentic gastronomic experience. Play a game of mini golf on our 18-hole tournament-approved mini golf course. Sit out in the courtyard and listen to live music. Be cultural - historically, architecturally and sensually. The possibilities are many, and we will help arrange your stay here at Marsk Camp. It is more a question of whether you will have enough time to fit everything in.
We look forward to seeing you here at Marsk Camp!
